When the rubber meets the road in a circular economy.

Updated: Apr 23, 2018

While the notion of the Circular Economy seems relatively new, Miniwiz, a Taiwanese company has been hard at it for over 15 years developing clever recycling technologies. Their latest is the Trashspresso, a solar powered unit the size of a 40' container that recycles plastic into all sorts of things.

The company is one of the few examples of a Circular Economy business that is in the trenches trying to deliver on the promise of all things circular rather than dabbling in it while running their usual business. For  Miniwiz, circular IS their business.

It's a fascinating story and one that gCycle is emulating. Because the approach to all aspects of the business is novel,  it feels like two steps forward, one step back it is worth the effort and we will get there.
